   Hi,

   First, thanks for that great plugin.
   I have a problem during activation of NextGEN FlashViewer
   I got : “Sorry, NextGEN FlashViewer works only in combination with NextGEN Gallery”
   But NextGEN Gallery has been installed, and works fine

   Can you help me ?

   Environnement :
   Wordpress 2.5
   NextGenGallery 0.92
   linux

   I get the exact same thing as Eric.

   Sorry, NextGEN FlashViewer works only in combination with NextGEN Gallery

   I have everything running in the same environment and NextGEN Gallery is installed and working great. Any ideas on what the problem may be?

   Ahh, figured it out. Not really figured it out, I just read the directions better. For anyone with the same problem the folder Nextgen-flashviewer needs to be renamed to nggflashviewer and then add your three files to the folder and activate. Once I renamed everything worked much better.

    I get this error when activating the FlashViewer!
    (And off course, NextGen is already installed!)

    “Sorry, NextGEN FlashViewer works only in combination with NextGEN Gallery.”

    Any idea why I get this error?

    Junipingla, deactivate the plugin, renamne the folder to nggflashviewer and activate.

    Does anybody know how to change the default black background on the simpleviewer gallery? I put both a url then an absolute path to a .jpg file to be used as bg in the Flashviewer settings but it stays black. Travel-junkie’s site is forbidden so I am unable to find help anywhere else .

    I tried this plugin on Wordpress 2.5 and the latest NextGen and when I click on the Gallery in the admin panel, I get sorry page not found.

    Disregard my previous post, it was my stupidity… For the record, before trying this you should turn the option “Deactivate gallery page link” off. As simple as that.

    Diese Meldung erhalte ich, beim Aktivieren des PlugIns.

    Den Plugin-Ordner und das PlugIn habe ich in nggflashviewer umbenannt. Es ändert sich aber nichts.

    Woran kann es sonst noch liegen?

    Wordpress 2.6.3
    nextGen 1.1 b
    Windows XP

    I get the Sorry, “NextGEN FlashViewer works only in combination with NextGEN Gallery” even if I rename the plugin folder to nggflashviewer and ngg (0.99.1) are activated? Any idea why?

    after Leif’s question i tried to find the answ and here is my conclusion …..

    answer for LEIF

    if u go to C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\nextgen-flashviewer

    directory u ll find nggflashviwer.php it tries to fing the nggflash-swf directory in above hirerachial directory then try to activate swf url in the path ….

    so every time it finds directory and get url then try to load respective swf for the gallery..

    hope u get the answer

    Also few words for alex..

    update nggflash so that it ll create nggflash-swf directory

    automatically new user wont get confuse…
