So let’s roll the ball. Here is now NextGEN Gallery V1.0.0 for WordPress 2.7-Beta 1. I would be very happy if some of you give me some feedback about it, it will speed up the stability. If you test this at your blog, please backup, backup, backup the database before… the tags will be merged with the WP tags and not longer available when you downgrade to a older version.
Some note about the new features : I will release in the next days more details about the most important addons, read the changelog in the meantime. Please be so kind and report new errors at my google code project, it would help me to track the failures in the test period.
One final note : The new ImageMagick isn’t very good tested, my hoster didn’t allow exec() and the local test system doesn’t gives the same result.

super Plugin, nutze es auch sehr gerne und verwalte mit NGG derzeit an die 7000 Fotos. – Großes Kompliment für deine Arbeit.
Allerdings geht mir immer wieder ein Feature ab, und zwar die Ajax- oder Javascript Pagination bei einer in einen Beitrag eingefügten Gallerie.
Da ich meistens pro Beitrag an die 100 Fotos veröffentliche sind die Bilder natürlich immer auf mehrere Seiten aufgeteilt… und ich finde es echt nervig, wenn immer die komplette Seite neu geladen werden muss… vielleicht kannst du dieses Feature in der endgültigen V1.00 noch einbauen… wäre echt absolute spitze!!
Wie schaut es denn mit dem Vorausladen von Bildern aus, das fände ich auch ganz interessant, so das die Bilder des Beitrags vorausgeladen werden während zum Beispiel der Text gelesen wird oder vorherige Bilder angeschaut werden…

it’s working now. I have another pb, i’d like to have, “Hide thumnails” by default. I have many images and it take many many time to load the page of each gallery. How can i change that ?

I give you my feedback, I just found a pb with the widgets. i used 9 newtgen widgets and i can only use one now. And when i use it i get this:

I’m looking for a way to have albums inside albums and have image tiles and descriptions. Does NextGen do this now?

I recently loaded Wordpress 2.7 for the website listed above and got an error when trying to activate WP-Table. It says it didn’t activate because of a Fatal Error; the exact message is “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”
Do you know if the plug-in is compatible with 2.7 and if not is there anything I can do to make it compatible? Thanks!!
