16Nov08

CoolIrisAnother new feature in the upcoming V1.00 is the support for Media RSS feeds from Vincent Prat . You can activate the new slideshow option in gallery option. If you didn’t have the Cooliris addon installed, then it open a nice javascript based slideshow.

Moreover you can insert now multiple Media RSS feeds via the widget section :

    I have activate the plug-in. However, when click on the [View with PicLens], and PicLens pops-up, it says: “This slideshow does not have any items. Please try another link.”

    I’m having the same problem. A few of many gallery page can’t seem to find the pictures when i click on [View with PicLens] while other galleries would show the pictures just fine. Any idea what might be causing this problem?

    Same issue over at wwww.carrigalineeducatetogether.ie As a result I’ve turned off cooliris to avoid confusion. Has anyone found a cause and/or solution for this problem?

    I also have a problem like the problem above.

    I decided to debug the code and find a the problem in the:

    wp-content\plugins\nextgen-gallery\xml\media-rss.php file.

    I commented 1 line of code in media-rss.php file.
    And that’s it.

    Find this commented line instruction:

    // Get previous and next galleries if required
    $gallery = $galleries[0];
    $prev_gallery = null;
    $next_gallery = null;

    Just put a comment in the: $gallery = $galleries[0];
    like this: //$gallery = $galleries[0];

    save it and try again to view the piclens slideshow.

    I don’t If these is correct. but it will do the trick for now.

    I hope that it will fixed the problem.

    good day to you all…
